Hi, y'all. I am a novice. Below novice. How many of you knew that before I said it?
A developer has setup a PHP script for me that permits me to enter terms that will be searched for, and replied to, in Twitter. I asked him about the search types that are permitted, and he didn't know what I was asking. I'm wondering, for example, about the use of quotation marks to ID a phrase, as in "search for this phrase" or boolean types, as in "search and phrase."
Can anyone here lend any guidance?
Thanks, folks.
Glenn

well for one u gotta see how the variable's are being submitted to the database... If its asking it to find likes or exact matches...
The guy is a retard if he didnt understand what u were asking for....
Basically ur gonna have to rewrite the function part of your search so it might look something like SELECT (name, descrition) '%"
I am 17 so i dnt know the exact way on how to write it but i know the query is gonna look alittle something like that.....
