Job Description

The Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software to detailed requirements. This position interfaces to Project Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Software Test, Program management, and Research & Development:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Ability to relocate to West Michigan
U.S. Citizenship

The following skills are required and will be tested as part of the interview process:

High proficiency in C
Profiency in RTOS concepts
Profiency in Embedded Development
Ability to collaborate in the development process
Appreciation for good development practices

The following skills and qualifications are desirable:

Automotive software development experience
Experience with Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration and other Agile practices
Profiency in C++
Experience with CMMI/SPICE
DSP experience
Proficiency in CanBus Protocol
