I decided after many months to finally post an introduction to the forum!
My name is Josh, I am current college student working towards my bachelors in Computer Science. Then, hopefully, a Masters in the same.
I started "coding" at about 13. Neopets of all places... When I was a kid, the game had a personal page you were able to edit, you had to use HTML. I read tutorials and introductions to html. Eventually, I started to move towards PHP and SQL. Unfortunately after a life change, I was unable to access the internet and wasn't able to continue learning.
I had a friend who I used to stay up nights designing random sites with random scripts doing random things. Of course he was the brainy one. He was like 3 years younger, and knew sooo much more than I did already!
I've always been interested in Programming of all types.
My goal while in college is to find a few friends who have the same interests as me in respects of computers and programming, and possibly start a few projects together. For fun... and Learning experience
Anyways, That's me, and I look forward to chatting with you all!

Welcome to our community Josh, I've had a similar history in working with someone on nights (ironically three years older than me!) on a random site with various features to learn and create a whole.
I hope you can spark interest in people whom share similar passions in college, working on things as a team is rewarding.
Alexander.
