I like the thread title "hello world" since the hello world demo seems to be all of you young'n programmers' first experience with programming.

Mods,

Posted here is a chunk of javascript and php that work together and offer substantial benefit especially to the inexperienced. If you want to post this in another forum where it could be more useful, feel free to do so. Please let me know where it is so I can subscribe to the thread and help anyone with questions.

I an old fart. And while I don't need any help right now, I probably will run into a problem that confounds me and hope to have access to the experience of all the good people here. To say thank you in advance for any help I may need in the future, here is a modest gift for the forum's less experienced members. My javascript and php library for anyone to use. Its not much but I rely upon it for much of my work. I wrote every line of it.

Code moved to the following thread: http://forum.codecal...pt-library.html
