Hello,

I'm using a Hercules Muse Pocket (USB-ljudkort) temporarily to my computer because the original soundcard broke. When i plugin my headset, both sound and microphone, the sound works but when i plugin the mic i get the input played in my headset(?) instead of going as recording input into the computer. When I go to audio in the control panel (Windows 7, 64bit) it seems to not find this input at all. I tested to enable both Microphone and Line-in and everything else that I found there, but nothing happend. I read the manual to the product and according to it it seems like you should just need to plugin-in-and-go, kinda.

What do i need to adjust to use the USB-soundcard's microphone as mic-in in the computer? I hope this is possible?

Thanks in advance!

These devices are very custom, and it is hard to know how/what they will perform like without knowing internals.

Does the headset have a single cord for both mic and audio? Have you tried to disable line-in, ensure microphone is enabled, and plugged in only the microphone in order to test it?

With a little searching there seems to be a lot of reviews, one of them may be something similar to what you are doing.

Thank you for your input. I ended up getting it working with the original soundcard, it wasn't broken i just hadn't configurated the jacks properly. But if someone know the mentioned problem, please post the solution, could help another one in the future.
