Hello from England! (The only way is Essex)
I'm curious about programming. I have studied it for three years in modules for university, but the lectures did not suit my learning style. However, I'm still interested in learning it my own way and just came on here to ask some clueless questions. I saw the tutorials sections, which look really useful, and when I'm good enough, trying to help people with code would help a lot.
There are too many programming languages to choose from, so I'll just stick with C++ (the last two modules used this) :).

Welcome aboard,
Programming brought to the masses has really sparked interest in later generations, it is nice to see people trying to immerse themselves in a few languages.
Alexander.
