First read up at American Censorship Day November 16 - Join the fight to stop SOPA. Then post what you think.
I think that coding something to get around this would be a piece of cake... has way to many pitfalls. Government is retarded anyways... lets just add this to this list.
What I hate about this is many people who don't do anything wrong could get into major trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if their was a bad reaction to this either. To bad congress usually doesn't do the right thing by anyone's standards.

Well considering that if they blocked anything you could just have a server in another country to get around it. Also if they don't block the IP then you can just enter the IP for the website.
As far as coding I mean making something for the average user to where they could stay stupid and get around what security road blocks the government may put up.
In case that was not clear, I would be going around them blocking the domain names. Not asking how... so please don't answer.

And your isp wouldn't notice the out-of-country connections you're making to the server?

Generally DNS is an aid for our minds and machines to remember IPs, blocking it can be slow by caching, and only matters if you are using your ISP's DNS server (which can be slow in the first place, you can use any other DNS server to bypass it all)
Blocking IPs can take out hordes of sites sharing the same IP address. One country had blocked foo.wordpress.com's IP to prevent access to that subdomain, taking out all of Wordpress for the country. You can "weigh" blocking decisions, if it were to block say ebay in the process, however the government is not going to sift through hundreds of domain names like that.
It just will not work for any amount of money.
If the ISP does not control the website, then very unlikely. The ISP could inspect content vs routing if the site were really that worthy of blocking entirely, however that is error prone, expensive, and downright sneaky.
Alexander.

So Congresses job is to stop the president from ruining the country and over throwing those amendment thingies? Because they seem to be doing that, not stopping it.
Please, write clearly with proper structure. Double spacing makes the text feel un-jointed, Capitalizing Every Word Means People Stop Before Every Word Sub-Consciously Which Is A Pain In The Backside, and use code tags! (The right most styling box).
