Hey everyone! Just wanted to get a good look around at what type of emoticons people like to use here. :) I've seen lots, and lots, and lots of emoticons throughout the web, so to know what people like here should be interesting.

Personally, I like the winky face the best. ;) It's what I use for everything! Sometimes people even think what I'm posting is supposed to be sexual in some way or another - when it's not. :P

Happy posting! :)

P.S: If you don't use emoticons, or think they are pointless and "dull" conversations down, you don't need to state that here. If no-one posts because of that - so be it. The only reason I say, is because I've had people tell me that emoticons are "childish" and/or "immature", and "dull" the conversation. :P

Thanks,
-Zizzy

I enjoy the nice plain :), often for sarcastic purposes.

A few people on here are known to use :P a lot. Mostly youngins use the smileys.

I don't think they're dull or bad or anything. Well, I'm not exactly a grandpa yet (still in high school), but I don't think that matters that much.

The two I like are :) and :D, but :D (here) looks a little like it's laughing or something; I was thinking something more like Posted Image (That image is my editing of :) ), though I wouldn't exactly say that my artistic job is any close to professional :) .

While posting in this forum I don't use any of these emoticons yet. This emoticon will be my first post :) and I do use it often on chat. But I think this is also good to use. ^^
