Hello; I thought that this would be a fun post to have in a general topic...

What are your favorite programming languages? This could mean your best, well known language; or even a language you admire the most and are inspired to learn.

I would most definitely have to say my favorite languages are PHP, HTML and CSS; mainly because I love Web Development, and have had a passion for it, for four years. :)

What are yours?

My favorite programming language for the longest time was C++. Recently, I've came to a liking of C# as well, and I am learning some Ruby and it looks like it has promise. Also there is nothing wrong with some good old assembly :D I also like to use PHP, HTML, and CSS

Eh, I haven't dug *too* much into C++ yet, but I am going through school for it... and maybe C# after C++. But for the most part, I'm doing more Web Dev. :)

What web development without JavaScript? Seriously. Though the top four for web development would be PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS. And you can still do HTML and CSS from within JavaScript; plus, HTML5 wouldn't be as great as it is without JavaScript.

Okay, back to the topic. My favorite language(/s ?) would be Assembly/JavaScript. Then Ruby, and then C. HTML and CSS are not really programming languages, so I don't want to put them on the list; they're just "there" .

Yeah, I forgot that. I haven't done much with it, but I actually am learning JS in Comp Sci as well right now. :) Sorry, forgot to include that one...

Anyway, I didn't *really* mean for it to be Programming Languages even though I stated so in the first post... I meant to say favorite languages overall, not just "programming" languages. :)

Sorry for the confusion.

PHP!
PHP is so amazing, the syntax all makes sense and is far more forgiving than say Python. It's also easy to do stuff quickly although sometimes writing CSS puts me off :(.
Please, write clearly with proper structure. Double spacing makes the text feel un-jointed, Capitalizing Every Word Means People Stop Before Every Word Sub-Consciously Which Is A Pain In The Backside, and use code tags! (The right most styling box).
