Does anyone know a *good* webhost?
I'm looking for a lower price (10-20USD a month?) with PHP/MySQL, with 5-10GB of storage and 25-100GB of bandwidth. The main thing I am looking for is reliability and customer service, I under stand servers crash but I would still like to have a answer along the lines of "x happened to our server and it is being repaired".

Seems hard to find good hosting these days, I had my eyes on future quest despite the somewhat unprofessional name there were many good reviews and a respectable website was hosted on it... But the reviews had slumped so now days it seems it's just cheap "unlimited" providers who back stab you ASAP and super expensive "cloud" hosts that cost hundreds of dollars a month.

I used 1&1 Domain Names & Web Hosting : 1&1 Internet Inc. a long long time ago and never had any problems.

I host a website at phychz.net, got the cheapest alternative (3000 MB storage and 150000 MB bandwidth/month), the price is $2.95/month. Check it out ;)
Edit: Here is a link to the hosting plans: Shared Web hosting solutions by psychz networks

2.95 a month... For 150GB bandwidth??? Seems a bit fishy I will look however...
Ok I am getting spammed about my 'ClickChat Account' or something like that whenever I visit a page. So wait with this Linux plan do I get the ability to run anything on their (ie uploading and executing files- preferably with some type of SSH access???).
Edit: I think i kind of answered my question :D, looks awesome.

I personally went with Lunarpages for shared hosting a few years back, they are pretty good.

For SSH, it generally requires a lot of rework of their control panel/setup procedures - and at least a fingerprint manager. You'd have might have to go with a VPS for that.

If you ever are interested, Rackspace or Linode provide $19.95/mo servers, with 20 storage and 200 transfer.
