Hello forum, Vaironl here.

This is some activity that I have been wanted to do for a while. My math teacher told me that when he was in college in his CS class, he had to make a program for the space shuttle which solved a real life problem ( Of course).

So is there any website that gives me some problems to solve?
where I have to think, and make the program itself think in a way.

For example finding the expected displacement of a car according to it's velocity.

Project Euler has real, though not "real life", problems that will force you to think.
Programming is a branch of mathematics.

You can try codebat, acm problem sets, topcoder. There are some more but I forgot them. One of them had to do with a chef and java?
