Hey guys, just wondering if there are any good books out there that teach you the fundamentals of the CURRENT version of the facebook API. Just need a how-to guide, as well as teaching me some basic concepts.

I know this doesn't really help you, but there aren't likely any books about any current API's out there. Books take longer to publish, and they have to go through editing and get submitted to a publisher, wait for approval, then go through printing and binding... By the time they hit the store shelves, they're already out of date. You'd be much better off looking to the internet to get current documentation.
