What happened to the appearance of posts on this forum? I mean, the user-info used to be on the left of each post; it's not bad or anything, I mean, and it depends on the way you look at it. But I am wondering if the new appearance is space-efficient.
What do you guys think about it?

Well, we need less code wrap... but I when your line of code is that big, you should make a new like...
I don't really see any pro or con, it's just new, "and new is always good"... facebook

I don't mind it. I rarely look at Join dates/post count/rep power/etc. so it doesn't bother me.

Just trying some new layouts. I read somewhere that it's better for a forum to be 1024px wide vs the variable width we currently have. In order to eventually run with 1024px, I figured that the post count stuff (postbits) need to be above the postings. I'm just giving a try to see if anyone objects.
Glad to hear that you are okay with it.

Well, we are programmer, so we want something that work, and don't really care about the look. You could transform it into a dos console, and I'm pretty sure most of us would stay here :P
But on the side note, I think it look good

That's true. Maybe I will change it to a dos console look ;) But then again, some people will probably complain.
We'll probably stay like this for a while until I can get some usage data.

One thing to keep in mind, however, about usage statistics, is that some of us have school, a lot of the time, so that might decrease some of us' usage of the forum, since we have homework to do (I hope what I just said makes sense :)).

Did Steve Jobs only care about the look of his products or something?

Steve Jobs made Apple, without Apple, iPhone, iPad, Mac, iTunes and other 'i' things this would would be dull.
