Hey thanks for checking out my thread

I want to have my website have certain pages that update daily... in fact 100's of pages thus the need for automation

is it possible to write a script into a webpage so that it updates its self daily?

basically I have a page on some content and I want it to locate the latest content in the site and add it to the page.. thus every day it will be up to date based on new information

Thanks for you help.. I guess in the end I could write a private .php page and call it myself to trigger the events.. but not sure if this is smart.. or whats smarter?

Thanks again

If you have a Linux Server you could have a cron tab call the private.php file (which is programmed to only accept requests from the IP of the server).
Please, write clearly with proper structure. Double spacing makes the text feel un-jointed, Capitalizing Every Word Means People Stop Before Every Word Sub-Consciously Which Is A Pain In The Backside, and use code tags! (The right most styling box).
