Hey all, I've been lurking several programming sites for awhile and decided I ought to finally join one. I started trying to learn Python as a first language some months ago and have made minimal progress; I've read several tutorials but have not written enough code yet to have any real proficiency. So, thanks to all of you in advance for putting up with what are likely to be some facepalm inducing questions.
