Me and some of my friends are thinking to start a blog , so the backend will be WordPress.
I want a good reliable , secure host and the prices should not be way too much. There are some options so which one should i go with?
goDaddy
hostGator
any other?
Thanks!

I've been using GoDaddy for many years now. No complaints whatsoever.

I've been using netfirms for years. They recently upgraded everything and it's even better now. I've bought domains from godaddy and I have a friend who uses hostgator so those are all pretty good options.

I've been using both 123-reg and Go Daddy for years and in my experience 123-reg is easy however Go Daddy is far more suited to hosting databases which you will require for your wordpress. I host a wordpress blog on GoDaddy and have had no problems. You can see it here iamchristill – Creative Technologist : iamchristill.com
Hope this helps.

WordPress is the best platform when it comes to setting up a blog. You must opt for WordPress Hosting UK. This hosting platform will provide you with all the necessary resources for setting up your website. However before selecting any website hosting company, do a through analysis. Make sure that the web hosting company provides with a 24/7 technical support and server monitoring for ensuring maximum benefits.

Try to choose the reliable hosting. In December 2011, all my sites down and can not access again because the hosting down, and the support not there. Now, I have change my hosting and choose HostGator as my hosting. I really satisfy with their service. Faster and more easier than previous one
