Hello everyone!

My real name is Efren Rodriguez, 18 years old and currently studying the Engineer Software Developer in UTM las Torres (Universidad TecMilenio), I'm on my first semester and still im not learning nothing related to my career, I think that this university doesn't have the resources I'm searching. A friend told me that on the fifth semester I'll start programming. I can't wait that long!

So I searched on the internet about a forum with full of programmers that can help on my career's life and life, In which way I refer "help"? Im not the kind of person that ask for something to be done for me. I'm fully interested of learning lenguages for writting my own lovely clean codes.

But obviously to accomplish my goals of been a good programmers (Software Developer) I need help. Professors that can give me hints, tips, Books that I can read, and so on.

I'm here to stay on the forum as an active member, Learning from you.
I'm here to accomplish my goals and been one of the best programmers that Mexico can have.

Hope I recieve the support of you!
Atte: Efren.

I am certainly glad you can join us, forums are often useful in that sense - even if you do require a lot of help it can be an example for other people wanting to learn the same thing.

Can you help me with a doubt? It's quit simple, I want to learn alot of things and specially software related so
I taked my own decision of studying C++ first, What you think? It's a good idea? Also I thing it's neccessary to store information in a database, Which lenguages are related to database?

Im about to start surfing on this forum :)

There are a lot of people who advocate C++ as a first language. For databases, learn SQL.
