I have a Qwest Actiontec PK5000 modem/router. For some reason, when I turn it on (plug it in), it boots normally at first, but when it connects to the DSL, it doesn't connect to the ISP, and - in a few seconds - it reboots. After it reboots, the same thing happens again. My computer can't even connect to it.
I recently took the wireless antenna off, but I don't think that should be the problem; it worked fine without the antenna for some time, before this behavior started.
Can anyone help?

Have you contacted your ISP? Usually, they can help with a lot of this stuff. It may have lost connection information, have a hardware failure, or something else.

Okay, I finally called the ISP.
I told them the current behavior: first, the power LED turns red; then, it turns amber; then the power LED and the DSL LED start flashing green; then the power LED turns steady green; then it reboots, having the same behavior again.
They told me that my modem/router is broken, and that I need to replace it. But since I bought it from Best Buy, they told me to call Best Buy and ask them if the warranty is still active.
Though I think I won't call Best Buy; I mean, I don't even think I bought any warranty, when I was buying the modem/router. I also have a Qwest M1000, so an option is to buy a wireless add-on for that, but I don't know. Well, thanks anyway.
