python background, which way do i turn? - signed gui noob

New to VS and anything gui, im wanting to possibly create windows admin programs that can be shared with other ppl in my group. Im used to scripting out remote installs, pulling remote computer system info, etc with python. Is C# what im looking for. VS has so many options and a not sure where to start. Between F#, C# and visual basic, im just not sure what the difference is or hwere to start..

Depends on what you want to do with your admin programs and what kind of UI you want them to have.
