Hello friends. This is the first time I am in a forum to ask a question about programming. I am a good designer but very impatient for programming. In this case I need some help for the first time so I hope I posted it in the right category.

Here is the deal: Everybody with FB should know those fake videos where you see some tits or disgusting previews of something that makes people click it without thinking first. Once on that website, the video preview generates either only a FB like on their wall with the meta info from the page or it does the same and actually opens the link.

Here is what I want to do. I would like to use this spam stuff for something good. I have a interesting website with 12.000 fans in FB. The idea is to create one simple page on my website with a main pic centered which is gonna be the link to the info I posted in FB. A Wallpaper or a link to a page on my website. What I would like to have onclick on the picture is the link to open but also to generate a like at the same time with a script. I have a FB ID for scripts for the page and I got some scripts from those websites.

My hope is that somebody here could take 10 minutes of his/her time to help me to make this work. I currently prepare the page.

My skype id is PPR787 in any case its easier to chat and send examples of source codes from those websites with the scripts. Thank you already! :thumbup1:

You do realize this would still be a violation of the terms of service for Facebook, right? Why do you want to do this?

Violating the terms of service will get your account banned. Then you won't have any friends. Really, there are better ways to get your service advertised. If it's really a good service, you won't have to trick people into liking you.

No, not really much interest in helping you do something that appears unethical.

Think about it from our perspective: do you really think those of us that use Facebook want to help people trick us into "like"ing them? There's enough crap on Facebook as it is, why would we want to increase it?

Looks like you as the owner (probably) are the only one active here. I cant recall asking for advise or an opinion of why I should or shouldnt do something. AGAIN: I dont have a crap website. People are simply LAZY and for that reason I want to support the flow a little. Unethical. Dont make me laugh please hahaha

With that kind of attitude people aren't going to want to help you. This site is quite active just people are ignoring this because it is unethical and nobody is going to want to be involved with something that violates Facebook's usage policy.

If somebody wants to like something they will. You don't have to trick them just to promote yourself.

And if you could read you would be able to see that I ALREADY have thousands and people DO like it and this attitude is the result of the crap you are talking here. It's not your or anybody's business WHY. I have reasons and its far from unethical and you are just making a fool of yourself. Consider me inactive, I finished it already ;-)

Not the owner, just have a talent for poking holes in stuff, and asking the questions that are sometimes necessary for getting people enough details to feel comfortable bidding on a job. We have a lot of people who come through here with half-formed ideas and a proposal that is designed to protect themselves, and then wonder why they can't generate any interest in their project.
