Hey.
I've taken a small look at Puppy Linux, and I really liked it. It's an amazing idea and I plan to make it my main OS. The only problem is that I can't get my wireless adapter to work on the latest release(5.2.8). It does, however, work on Puppeee 4.4. It's outdated, and I like to be up to date.
I've tried the drivers from Broadcom's website. Doesn't work. I've tried using the Windows driver, doesn't work also.
Is there a way I can somehow move the working drivers from Puppeee to Puppy 5.2? Otherwise, what steps should I take to fix it?
Yours truly, Mike.

We've no clue why it does not work, they could had redone the wireless configuration and not installed certain packages by default. If the Broadcom unified driver does not work (and you cannot modprobe the appropriate driver it installs) then you will have to use ndiswrapper with the Windows driver, It should work under most of all circumstances. These are general options, you will have to enquire or search the community to look for patches or experiences or even support in general.

I just can't fix it, I've tried everything.

-EDIT-
I have started a thread about it at the Puppy forums and got a few suggestion already, I'll try them this evening.
