Hi,

I want to buy for the first time a host for my project.

I want to ask you about Hostgator.com or Hosting.com, who's better ?
I want unlimited space&traffic, a big number of databases and subdomains.

Or could you recommend me other web hosting at cheap prices ?

Thank you

Let me ask a different question: what are you willing to be limited on?
Unlimited space: you don't need it. How much do you need? Does that much storage exist on the planet?
Unlimited traffic: doesn't exist. You have a limited bandwidth, so you have limited traffic. How much do you need?
Space will determine the limits on your databases. What type do you need?
How many subdomains do you need?

Also, what's the reliability? If you have "unlimited" that's unavailable from 9am to 9pm, does it do you any good?
Do you need backups of your databases?

Put numbers on what you need, or nobody can offer advice.

When choosing unlimited hosting plans, it will be a good idea to read TOS of the company you are planning to deal with in order to avoid misunderstandings.

I believe that it will be much more reasonable to choose time-tested and reputed host.
Read other clients' or customers' testimonials.

I suppose that in this case you need to think over your requirements. Also that is not bad idea to do the search and looking through reviews for both of the companies.

It will be a good idea to contact them both, tell your requirements and see if they can meet your needs and budget.

Think that it will be a good idea to deal with specialized web hosting provider - it means that they know what they are doing.

Look for a minimum uptime of 99%. In fact, even 99% is actually too low - it really should be 99.5% or higher.

Choosing the right kind of web hosting service can be a very daunting task at times as there are some very important Personal or ecommerce web hosting features that you need to make sure of. contact them both and see what they will offer for you.

I believe that choosing a web host is not an easy thing to do. Try to find customer hosting reviews about them at Webhostingstuff review web site.
