ServXtreme needs your help. We are looking for Intermediate Level Developers in VB/ASP .NET 4.0 & PHP/JavaScript. You would become a BIG part of this new found community and be rewarded based on its success! The site is NOT live to public use at this time as we are trying to gather our own development team to aid in the development of this site!

That's actually pretty common around here. Most of us are either employed already, or students. Combine that with the promise that we will NOT be paid until revenue generation starts and the lack of a way to evaluate your business model, product, etc, and it isn't very surprising.
Having an idea is easy. Making money with it is hard. Get programmers to risk their time and energy on an effort that hasn't been defined and could easily be a waste of time is nearly impossible.

I guess i would have to agree with you. It wasn't really meant to be "advertised" as a "job" ... Was more geared tward anyone that had time and wanted to just be part of the project because they enjoy doing it and would be a fun project. "Could" turn into a successful project with the right team, can i promise that ? Of course not! But i guess i will be patient and if someone is interested in it they will contact me!

In a case like this, I would at least offer some clue as to what the site will be. It's hard to generate interest in a mystery hobby project. I mean, it could be cool, but it's more likely to be something that's not interesting. There's nothing to be interested in, so far, except the possibility of maybe getting money...
