I have a strange problem with my webcam.
I was haveing a videoconference with a friend, I had to move the webcam, as I did that, it started to show blinking vertical dotted stripes as in this picture

I disconnected the webcam and connected anotherone, it worked correctly... until I moved it as well and again those stripes.
Now those stripes always appears even if I shut down my pc and restart it, and that happens both with Windows Live Messenger and Skype.

What can I try to do to fix this?

The first thing that jumps to my mind: is there a loose wire or a short in the wire?
Programming is a branch of mathematics.

Thanks for the reply.
I don't think that is a wire problem, both the webcams should have the same problem.
By the way I've uninstalled their drivers and reinstalled them, at the moment they are working correctly again.
Maybe when I moved the webcams I put and hand in front of them and the contrast and light compensation sensor caused the problem.
