I tried reading through the website, but is still prefer an ebook as it is more convenient for me.

I think that you can start learning that stuff in the Internet and then use forums to find out replies to your questions

IMO, HTML is a simple enough language that you can learn it from a brief tutorial. The W3Schools site has a good one (I have a feeling it's already been linked to).
