Let's say my main site is www.mySite.com . The path is:
/home/itsme/public_html/
I want to set up a staging server at staging.mySite.com which the path of ITS root is to:
/home/itsme/staging/
I realize now that I can't do this with a CNAME or something like this...

So my new question is: How can I do this with CentOS, WHM/Cpanel?

Thanks all...

Hello Scott,

cPanel has a wonderful amount of documentation here that can help you:

Subdomains

It should be as simple finding the subdomain feature in the cPanel control panel, adding the subdomain staging and then creating the folder staging in your document root as you have intended.

cPanel should automatically link <name>.site.com to <docroot>/<name> for ease.
