Hey guys.

I just recently started programming, and I only have a very basic knowledge on python. Eventually, I want to do game developement. Right now, I have one main question: What language should I start with if I want to develop games? I would really apprieciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Why not try c++, it is very interesting to learn and gives you full control of how to represent the concepts u want to actualize. Some say that c++ is hard, but personally I hv not seen anything hard in it. If u learn it u will b glad u did

You can write games in Python (even with GUI's and such). For now, I'd keep working on what you've learned. When you get interested in graphics, look into the wxPython bindings.

Oh, and Welcome aboard!
