Hey guys, I am looking for a social feature for my social networking site Chatterpit. I am using a script I bought on it, so it may make this job a bit difficult.
Basically I am looking for something similar to the "Tweet button" that can be an HTML code that people can paste on their websites. It will have our "C" logo and a count, to show how many people posted the update on our site.
Since unfortunately, My site requires you to log in each visit, I dont think that there is any way to integrate this with my script, so what I what I would like is to have it so when you click the button, it takes you to Chatterpit-Social Network and ads a number to the button. While this could allow for spam, such as people clicking the button 400 times or something, I still think this would be beneficial to my site, until the time that I do my own programming on my site.
I can not offer much $$ but I can offer you lifetime advertising on Chatterpit.com for creating the button for me. I can also gibe your site or business a legit review on my youtube account with 4.1k+ subscribers who actively comment on my videos.
If you want to bash my site because its a script, and how I will never compete with twitter and lalalala then thats totally fine, but, Im not here to compete with twitter, I'm here to grow my site, and have a cool feature made for it.
Thank you

Hey,
Saw the site and i think the site is coool and will be creating an account on it today to check it. I am an ASP.NET developer so i cannot help much but i think you are on the right track. a widget like this will surely help. But you must have the button per user or something. With the button taking the user to the home page i am not sure how that can differentiate different buttons.
