Hi gang. Got a problem with rining pwdump in Windows 7 (maybe a bad idea to begin with because I'm not sure pwdump is compatible with W7 please make note if you know). As I understood one needs to run the program as admin so I run the cmd as admin. Tryed to run pwdump which told me that I have to run it as user Administrator. Now I am not sure about the next step: when I try the runas /user:Administrator pwdump it tells me that user does not exist or bad password(which it isn't since I am the admin user) and when I try with runas /user:<my_username> pwdump it comes out empty. So would like to know if I am doing something wrong or did I get wrong pwdump and should perhapes try with pwdump2 3 6 or 7 or something else because others are not compatible with W7?

P.S Didnät really know where to post this one, so I posted this here since it's come closest with "security" and all.

There is a difference between running a program as Administrator and the user Administrator in Windows. The Administrator account built in to Windows has to be enabled first before its use. Have a look at "Enable the administrator account in windows 7".

Remember if this answer was useful. +rep me down below.
