Hi my name is Rob, and as the name implies I have a passion for pascal. first delphi then moving on to freepascal. over the years I have worked with many languages basic, assembly,AmigaE,C,C#, made a couple of my own. modded a few game's. all in all I'm just a hobby programmer. self taught so I don't always speak the language of the professionals. my current project CarverPascal is an alternate framework to the delphi/lazarus way of doing thing's. probably not safe to say such things on the lazarus forum as new idea's aren't very well excepted there. perhaps if I hideout here until it's finished they won't find me and lock me away in the archives. so if you see any of them don't tell them I'm here.

Hello Rob, I hope for the best on your framework project (what is your progress so far?)

progress is good, I'm at a slow point right now trying to implement opengl3.3+ into the core. having to translate c++ to pascal is hard on my brain.

Going from Pascal to C++ would be much easier, if you ask me.

if I knew both languages equally then it would probably be the same either way but I don't really know C++ some stuff I can read ok but other things look to cryptic for me.
