simulating LTE MAC layer in omnet++ simulator

Hi Dear friends

I'm MS student and I'm working on my thesis. I have to simulate LTE mac layer in omnet++ simulator. I really appreciate it if anyone can help me in this regard.

The logical way would be to get to run omnet simulator first (which is now basically MiXiM simulator)

Following link gives details of how to do that.

There is a python script to stress out that. So you probably would need to modify that latter on your own reading through LTE specification.

I am sure you can google up LTE MAC specification and code it using the format above.

Edit: A good and practical explanation and helping material for LTE's MAC is available on wireshark wiki MAC-LTE - The Wireshark Wiki

It provides sample captures and all details you would require to know the format.

I'm working on MAC and RLC layer in LTE. I would like to simulate/write a module in OMNeT++. If any one can help me out, it would be of great help to me.
