hey i'm currently learning java and i would like to learn c++ and some sort of webpage programming. As for java i'm always looking for random projects that strain my brain. Anyways just wanted to say hello.

What sort of web programming were you looking to do? PHP is a great option, and should be familiar to you if you code in C related languages. Java actually has JSP (Java Server Pages) if you are interested as well.

Is the JSP really open. Like is there a lot of Customization cause i wanted to start with something i could be a little used to and that would be pretty beneficial.

JSP is very powerful, although you must note that you will be writing the code in Java. PHP however can do pretty much the same, although is a scripting language and therefor much simpler to learn and write. You may wish to write web programs or pages in PHP due to the fact it is faster to write them, it is a new language however. I would only use JSP if you are adept in Java otherwise there is not too much a benefit. For example if you wished to use a Java package in your application you could simply import it like normal, and use it in the web page.
