I am new to web development, though I have experience in developing desktop applications in c#.net and using ado datasets for connecting to SQL servers.

What is the preferred/best/standard solution for getting/updating sql databases in MVC? Entity Data Model, or DataSets?

I have been fighting with Entity (VS2008/MVC2) for a day or two, and am having an incredibly difficult time defining foreign keys.
