hey folks, I am just another newb on the ranch here and wanted to say hey:lol: ok now that thats done, down to business. my name is chris and I am a complete newbie so you all are gonna have to talk to me like im 3 because if you tried to talk to me like I was 5 I would still get lost.
Ok, I have looked around some, I cant seem to find what I am looking for. I am running a website for my gaming league, and I am trying to figure out how to put a second forum on there. One was easy because it was just add an app type deal. I cant seem to get a second one on there that is closed from the general public but open for the leadership. Any help at all would be absolutly fantastic. Thank you!!!

Hello and welcome to our forums darkresearcher!
I assume you could create a subfolder, i.e. domain.com/private/ and install the forum in there (being careful to install it with a different table name or prefix than your other forum so it does not overwrite it.)
Most forums have privacy controls so they cannot view any threads unless logged in/authorized, however you can install a .htpasswd file and force the user to authenticate with a password before they can see the actual subfolder.
Do either of those sound like a solution?
