Hi

I have a drop down box that has students' IDs. I need to copy the ID that the user selects to a text box.

How can I do that ?

There are lot of dropdown box types out there, which one you are using?

Well, I think it has to do with Javascript as the page shouldn't reload, because php will reload the page and you will lose your data, so Javascript will do the work, as it will take the value of an ID from the dropdown and give it to text box. this is how it will work.
