Hello everybody =)
I'm Anna.
I study math and programming *and other fields of Computer Science* at University. What about programming languages, university gave me knowledge only in Delphi and little in PHP "It's Russia..Yeah..". But i'm interesting in other languages (and have no time for learn... haha.. also it's called "laziness").
Nice to meet you all =)

Welcome Anna!

I have not seen too many students that come online here who have learned from Pascal/Delphi, it is certainly a great alternative to learning C or C++ (although PHP shares more with them).

Feel free to post about anything you wish, it would be great to spark interest in a certain technology or language.

Thanks a lot, Alexander!
Maybe Pascal is good as basic language, because it helps with understanding of sctructure programming very well, but after that there is other way for you of understanding OOP, 'cause your mind has already got accustomed to sctructure programming))))

Welcome aboard! A few of us here work with Delphi/Pascal. Also, Object Pascal can be used to start doing object-oriented programming with Pascal. It's the basis for Delphi and Lazarus.
Programming is a branch of mathematics.
