Is anyone here familiar with William Stanek's Microsoft Press Series? His books on Microsoft are clear and to the point (in my opinion). I was wondering if there were any books on Linux with the same quality? Probably not since Linux is freely distributed. Just thought I'd ask.

There're also a lot of different distros of Linux like Ubuntu, Red Hat, Fedora, CentOS, etc. You can probably find eBooks on those. I'm sure I've seen a book or two about the Linux system in general, not OS-specific.
