I am seeking a developer to partner with for development of a social networking website and facebook app. The project team will consist of myself as lead content developer, a graphic designer (position already filled), and yourself as lead coder.

We plan to bring in revenue through advertising and Corporate sponsorships of certain integrated elements of the app. Revenue will be shared among development team members.

The concept of the app/site is "RLRPG" - a fun, themed app where users answer quizzes and contribute personal information to develop a "character sheet" and then participate in real life "quests" for achievement points and badges.

So my understanding is this "open position" person will be writing the bulk of the code for the project?

What language do you plan on using, PHP, Python, Java , C#, etc?

Lastly, do you plan on having this app run on mobile devices, Droid, iPhone etc?

Hi arp, thanks for replying.

Yes the coder would be doing the bulk of the programming. I would love to assist where I can, but I am an amateur programmer at best.

The languages to be used would be up to the coder.

Long term goal would certainly include mobile support on smartphones. I already have an iOS coder lined up for that phase of the project.

Can this be a remote thing or do you prefer someone close to your area? And if possible, could I get more detail as to what you're developing and or what it may look like. It sounds like a project I'd definitely be interested in. I haven't done a facebook app yet, but I've look into it in the past.
