Hi,
i just want to know is there a code in php that auto send birthday greeting email without using a cron. it checks the birthday entry and the date today.

You must either rely on user hits (i.e. a script at the bottom of each page that calls the birthday checker php script) or utilize an online service to query that page every specific time period.
