What are you trying to do? Asking about what language to learn without a goal is like asking like what spoken language to learn before you know what country you're going to.
PHP is used for web development. Is this what you want to do? Or do you want to write applications for the desktop? PHP is an excellent choice to start learning web development, but, you'll also have to know about web servers and how to integrate the PHP interpreter with it, unless you can find hosting somewhere that you can use.
If you're wanting to learn desktop application programming, VB.NET is what I usually recommend for beginners. There are a ton of tutorials on the web and the IDE and compiler is free. (Visual Studio 2010 Express Edition)

Thanks for reply.
I read that C# is a good programming language. What you think about this? In the future I could use it for build sites with ASP.NET and desktop application, yes?

You are correct. I like C# a lot (it's one of my favorite languages), and I think you would do well to learn it. Like VB.NET, it is also free. (Part of Visual Studio)
