Help finding tutorials for JBox2d

I am deciding to use JBox2d, C++ port of the popular physics library Box2d, in my java game(made in lwjgl and slick 2d). However I cannot find any tutorials for an absolute beginner. I'm making a platformer shooter and will need to utilise friction, gravity and physics in general.

I was searchin now for a while but sorry all i found was for android and i bet thats not what youre making right?
