What do you mean by "up existing Windows?" If you're asking if it's possible to run Windows in an Ubuntu VirtualBox, it definitely is possible, as I'm doing it myself. However, after a while Windows will complain that it's "not genuine," i.e. it thinks it's pirated. Since it isn't really because it's on the same computer and you own it, it's legally fine, and Windows won't actually do anything about it. You might get weird sound issues with a VB Windows, but there's a solution I found that works perfectly. If you have that problem I'll go and find the solution again.

If you want to run Windows on an Ubuntu VM, you need to create the VM and install Windows on the virtual hard drive. If you just want to run some Windows programs, look into installing WINE.

If I understand you correctly, you want to MOVE a copy of Windows that is currently running directly on the hardware into the VBox. That's not likely to work, because there are new drivers for virtualized hardware, compared with actual hardware. Worse, if you have Ubuntu running inside Windows, with VBox running inside that, you start to get a chicken-egg problem.
