Hi
My brother was curious. I'm trying to figure out what icon is this and what program it does. The icon looks like a old program back in the early 2000.

Where did you get the icon from, and why do you think it runs anything?

Generally, if you have an icon on your desktop, you can right-click on it and select properties to find out what program it's associated with. If you just have the icon, but not the application, then things get a lot harder.

Are you sure? I do remember this icon, enough that I know it is on a default installation of a 9x version of Windows of some sort, possible the IIS icon logo, I am completely unsure.

Do a search for delphi and search icons. It will be in first page results. Its a componet to protect a program or some sort. OR the user maybe using the icon from another program.

If you go to the site, however, it seems to be associated with 4 different components from 3 different publishers...

It's icon of Borland Delphi 7. Delphi 7 is a Windows programming environment. It uses Object Pascal language (although it uses its special dialect of pascal that different from Ansi Pascal).

But the icon also serves as the default icon for programs created by Delphi 7. So if you see this icon, there is a good chance that what you have is a program created by Delphi (and the creator was lazy to change the default icon).
