I started learning programming (java) last year (september + ) , through my university course (Mathematics and Computing). I have picked it up fast, and have become very interested in programming (and love making programs!), and definately want to get into programming as part of my future career... Assuming that my band doesn't become rich and famous. *sigh* xD
My reason for joining this forum; I want to learn programming in more detail, and gain tips & advice from experts (such as many of you leet programmers here), that my university course would not offer.
A little bit about myself:
- I am 19, currently living the student way of life
- I'm from the UK
- I <3 computer games (MMORPGs mainly)
- I listen to lots of rock (from classic, to indie, to hard rock), and heavy metal
- I play guitar (the styles I play are stated in my music tastes above)
- I <3 my herbs
- My favourite beer is Grolsh
- I am highly interested by the world of science
I have never been part of a community of computer experts, so I will certainly look forward to meeting you all :)
