Hello Guys vairon here, I am totally new to programming and i am in highschool. I just want to say and ask 2 things here.

1. should i start getting ready for game programming which is the career i would like to do, and if so any tips/hints?

2.Any good recommendation for a good C++ book or should i start with another programming language since i don't know anything about programming yet

C++ or flash(actionscript) are the languages to learn, if you want to do game programming.

You can learn C++ as your first language, but you will have quite a bit to learn BEFORE you start writing games. If you look in the C/C++ sticky thread, you'll find many good suggestions.
Programming is a branch of mathematics.
