Hey, guys. I'm pretty new here. In terms of programming knowledge, I can read programming languages, and understand what's pretty much going on, but in terms of writing a program, I'm pretty useless.
I've worked with Flash AS2 and AS3 before, HTML and I'm beginning to pick up PHP and C++.

Is there any tips on picking up code quickly, or is it a case of working with code all the time, to fully understand it?

This may belong in the introductions forum but, welcome to CodeCall, jabdennel. And yes the best way to learn is to just get in there and code, its the best learning tool there is. Of course some good tutorials wont do you any harm, so take a look at the C Tutorial & PHP Tutorial sections.
