What do people mean when they mention these kinds of scripts and how could I set one up?
Context is the script has to be capable of hosting an API with an input and output.
It's to automate tasks on web browser simulators. PHP scripts like these would apparently prevent from requiring to go off the browser. But what are these PHP scripts and what kind of host do we require?
Cheers.
PHP scripts in secure area to show a webpage with input and output?

I do not believe I understand what you are saying. How do you mean a secure area, are not standard hosts secure enough? is there a special security requirement for your automating API? What do you mean go off browser?

In order to automate things like Ubot or Zennoposter which are browser automation software, I would need spreadsheets that are shown inside the web browser itself. I read somewhere that hosting PHP scripts somewhere allows me to do that, but I dont know what PHP scripts they mean.

Do you mean you wish for the script to automate working with (editing) spreadsheets in browser? I do not think there are many scripts out there that create spreadsheets as HTML (for the browser to display) for you to edit, as working with them is usually an offline task. I tried to look briefly online, but no luck.

thanks alexander, but I'm referring to the following message:
Any future support for Spintax?
The PHP script would interface with The Best Spinner API, which is a marketing tool to spin articles.
All I'd need is to get something that'll stick this tool on my browser, as Zennoposter is pretty much only browser automating. So any PHP script that sticks something on a browser (explorer) might do.
I'm guessing I could stick the PHP script into WAMP to fire this one up, if only I knew what script he's referring to that's the thing.
In fact I'll create a new post because the question is much clearer to me now and might catch someone's eye.
