Hey everyone,

Im helping a friend of mine with a website.
He wants all the pages except for the startup page to have a layout...the start up page is to have a blank black background and sort of an "online catalog" slider in the center...sort of like a preview of the content in the site...the problem is that in wordpress it doesnt let you choose which pages have layouts and which dont...is there a css code that disables the layout on one page and lets you use a blank black page?

thanks
How many programmers does it take to fix a light bulb? ...None, its a hardware problem.

That is called a static landing page, good to have it in a cms like site.
Creating a Static Front Page « WordPress Codex
And also, insert a latest post widget, slideshow etc into this landing page to give it a surreal look happy wordpressing :D
more doubt's go to Deeptechtons Lab « Design, Develop, Testing and loads of fun or shoot me a question :D
