First off, all those game sections at the top should be under a couple major category links with drop down menu's. Also the home page seems to go on and on. Maybe try less games and alil more description about the games.

My first reaction: I see a TON of cars labeled "hot", and almost closed the site with the assumption that it's some stupid car trading site. If I hadn't scrolled down to see what else was going on to leave feedback, I never would have realized it's a video game site.

Whenever I click on a category, I see a bunch of images with a lot of text for each one in a small font. The overload means I ignore the text and try to select a game based solely on the image.

Clicking on a game gives me an almost identical screen, except for the giant PLAY NOW button that opens a new window. This is where I'd like to see the game featured front and center, and give more information about it. The other games (somehow related?) should be lower on the screen, and have far fewer of them.

Your site's biggest issue is simple: you're overloading the user, and the result is your user will move to a different site. You may want to look at miniclip.com or armorgames.com for some ideas about how to avoid the overload effect.

I totally agree with everything WP said there.

While WP had given details, I would like to add some principles.

  • Don't try to show everyhing at once! Build your games category, so the top Games list in the homepage can be reduced into one row (or at max two). Currently it's 4 rows in my screen, and it's 1280x1024 resolution! Instead showing "short details" of all games in hompage, you could've selected some featured ones (maybe most popular or newest). Also apply this in the game's detail page. You must focus on information that would urge the readers to play the game instead of confusing them with too many competitors for the said game.
  • Use proper size/dimensions. If you want to show a large number of images at once, please use small images. They would load faster and readers could view more at the same time. Also apply this principle on the Google adsense module. I was presented with vertical adsense module where horizontal oriented one would've fit more nicely.

I think that's it for now.

ur site pissed me off within seconds,
i just took 20 seconds for me to click away from the site.
1st. All those big pictures make my eyes feel all itchy.
2nd. Make a site like miniclip with single flash file on click shows the popular games

Some people say these types of reviews are bad but I think it's showing what a customers reaction wil be:
Car games?
****E its a dictionary of some sought!!!
Ahhh images!
My bandwidth!!
**closes window**
My advice:
Get rid of all those game on the front page.
Add a menu (maybe a banner along the top)
On the front page have a half page ish image of a car or something (not a real life picture) and on the right have a few top games with their icons and discriptions.

I'll take a longer glance after that.
I recommend you have one of those single line google ads stretched along the top (or a thicker one your choice). I'd put it between the menu bar and the top games thing.
Please, write clearly with proper structure. Double spacing makes the text feel un-jointed, Capitalizing Every Word Means People Stop Before Every Word Sub-Consciously Which Is A Pain In The Backside, and use code tags! (The right most styling box).
