Compare Intel® Products,
I find these CPU,
I want to know which of them is faster? (E5500 is 2010 but have Clock Speed is 2.8 and less cache and 925 Clock Speed 3 and 4 MB cache)

Which one is better?

Hi, the Pentium E5500 is a newer core model with 45nm transistor technology (opposed to 65nm in the other choices you had), the technology in this case is a better asset than the slightly lower clock speed. I would get the E5500.

Do you have any problem with Matlab?
Have you ever test it?

The big hype today in the computer tech world is the quad core CPU.
I think in this age Pentium E5500 is more faster than all others .I like it .

Yes I think there can be different choices according to requirements. Intel Core I7 is good. i7-990X is sold with six separate processing cores. There are many features of it which are unique. but finally its upto the customer as to which one will satisfy his needs keeping in mind the budget and everything else.

Toshiba!! (looks for hiding spot)
Look for GHz, I recommend the i5 + @ 3.3GHz, the i7 are very expensive and probably not worth it unless you plan to overclock, however even the i5 2600K can be ran at 4.2 GHz with the addition of a cheap ($20~) CPU cooler.

Great now my cat is ravaging my revision papers, perhaps it's a vision from god to stop procrastinating.

Intel® Pentium® D Processor 925 (4M Cache, 3.00 GHz, 800 MHz FSB

is faster for me, you don't have a fancy processor anyway if you will just use it for internet and some games.. you need i series processors and a high RAM only if you are going to create some cool graphics games.
